2. Project Identification: the identification of the Preliminary Design Problem, understanding & defining the building type, users and site (with Case studies) –  التعريف الأولي بالمشكلة التصميمية، فهم ونعريف نوعية وخصائص المالك، المستخدمين، الموقع،  المبنى (مع الأمثلة والحالات الدراسية)
3. Site and Contextual Analysis: (with case studies) – تحليل الموقع والسياقات
4. Design Challenges and Critical Issues:  more comprehension of the design problem (with case studies)- التحديات التصميمية والقضايا الحاسمة – مزيد من الفهم للمشكلة التصميمية

During this course, the student is responsible for preparing the graduation project research. The research methodology is based on theoretical and practical analyses taking into account the nature of the project, concerning five interrelated phases; Selection of the project and site, initial identification of the design problem (project, owner, user, site, building), supported by case studies’ analysis, site and contextual analysis, Crucial issues analysis (deeper understanding of the design problem), identification of functional and spatial requirements. Preparation and validation of project area program.  conclusion, Design considerations and approaches

خلال هذا المقرر، يكون الطالب مسؤولاً عن إعداد بحث مشروع التخرج، وتعتمد منهجية البحث على التحليلات النظرية والعملية مع مراعاة طبيعة المشروع، والمتعلقة بخمس مراحل مترابطة؛ اختيار المشروع والموقع، التعريف الأولي بجوانب المشكلة التصميمية (المشروع، المالك، المتسخدم، الموقع، المبنى)، مع تحليل أمثلة وحالات دراسية، ، تحليل الموقع والسياقات المؤثرة، تحليل القضايا الحاسمة للمشروع (فهم أعمق للمشكلة التصميمية)، تحديد المتطلبات الوظيفية والفراغية والإعداد والتحقق من البرنامج المساحي للمشروع، الخلاصة والإعتبارات والتوجهات النصميمية للمشروع
